Surah Ar-Rum (The Romans), Verse 36

وَاِذَاۤ اَذَقْنَا النَّاسَ رَحْمَةً فَرِحُوْا بِهَا وَاِنْ تُصِبْهُمْ سَیِّئَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ اَیْدِیْهِمْ اِذَا هُمْ یَقْنَطُوْنَ ۟

Wa izaaa azaqnan naasa rahmatan farihoo bihaa wa in tusibhum sayyi'atum bimaa qaddamat aydeehim izaa hum yaqnatoon

“When We give men a taste of Mercy, they exult thereat: and when some evil afflicts them because of what their (own) hands have sent forth, behold, they are in despair!”
