Surah An-Nisa' (The Women), Verse 17

اِنَّمَا التَّوْبَةُ عَلَی اللّٰهِ لِلَّذِیْنَ یَعْمَلُوْنَ السُّوْٓءَ بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ یَتُوْبُوْنَ مِنْ قَرِیْبٍ فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَ یَتُوْبُ اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِمْ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَلِیْمًا حَكِیْمًا ۟

Innamat tawbatu 'alallaahi lillazeena ya'maloonas sooo'a bijahaalatin summa yatooboona min qareebin fa ulaa'ika yatoobul laahu 'alaihim; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleeman Hakeemaa

“Allah accept the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them will Allah turn in mercy: For Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.”
