Surah Al-Mai'dah (The Spread Table), Verse 81

وَلَوْ كَانُوْا یُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالنَّبِیِّ وَمَاۤ اُنْزِلَ اِلَیْهِ مَا اتَّخَذُوْهُمْ اَوْلِیَآءَ وَلٰكِنَّ كَثِیْرًا مِّنْهُمْ فٰسِقُوْنَ ۟

Wa law kaanoo yu'minoona billaahi wan nabiyyi wa maaa unzila ilaihi mattakhazoohum awliyaaa'a wa laakinna kaseeram minhum faasiqoon

“If only they had believed in Allah, in the Prophet, and in what hath been revealed to him, never would they have taken them for friends and protectors, but most of them are rebellious wrong-doers.”
