Surah Al-Hashr (The Banishment), Verse 5

مَا قَطَعْتُمْ مِّنْ لِّیْنَةٍ اَوْ تَرَكْتُمُوْهَا قَآىِٕمَةً عَلٰۤی اُصُوْلِهَا فَبِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِ وَلِیُخْزِیَ الْفٰسِقِیْنَ ۟

Maa qata'tum mil leenatin aw taraktumoohaa qaaa'imatan'alaaa usoolihaa fabi iznil laahi wa liyukhziyal faasiqeen

“Whether ye cut down (O ye Muslim!) The tender palm-trees, or ye left them standing on their roots, it was by leave of Allah, and in order that He might cover with shame the rebellious transgressors.”
