Surah Al-An'am (The Cattle), Verse 107

وَلَوْ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ مَاۤ اَشْرَكُوْا وَمَا جَعَلْنٰكَ عَلَیْهِمْ حَفِیْظًا وَمَاۤ اَنْتَ عَلَیْهِمْ بِوَكِیْلٍ ۟

Wa law shaaa'al laahu maaa ashrakoo; wa maa ja'alnaaka 'alaihim hafeezanw wa maaa anta 'alaihim biwakeel

“If it had been Allah's plan, they would not have taken false gods: but We made thee not one to watch over their doings, nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs.”
