Surah Al-An'am (The Cattle), Verse 53

وَكَذٰلِكَ فَتَنَّا بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْضٍ لِّیَقُوْلُوْۤا اَهٰۤؤُلَآءِ مَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِمْ مِّنْ بَیْنِنَا اَلَیْسَ اللّٰهُ بِاَعْلَمَ بِالشّٰكِرِیْنَ ۟

Wa kazaalika fatannaa ba'dahum biba'dil liyaqoolooo ahaaa'ulaaa'i mannal laahu 'alaihim mim baininaa; alaisal laahu bi-a'lama bish shaakireen

“Thus did We try some of them by comparison with others, that they should say: "Is it these then that Allah hath favoured from amongst us?" Doth not Allah know best those who are grateful?”
