Surah At-Taubah (The Repentance), Verse 7

كَیْفَ یَكُوْنُ لِلْمُشْرِكِیْنَ عَهْدٌ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ وَعِنْدَ رَسُوْلِهٖۤ اِلَّا الَّذِیْنَ عٰهَدْتُّمْ عِنْدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ فَمَا اسْتَقَامُوْا لَكُمْ فَاسْتَقِیْمُوْا لَهُمْ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ یُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِیْنَ ۟

Kaifa yakoonu lilmush rikeena 'ahdun 'indallaahi wa 'inda Rasoolihee illal lazeena 'aahattum 'indal Masjidil Haraami famas taqaamoo lakum fastaqeemoo lahum; innallaaha yuhibbul muttaqeen

“How can there be a league, before Allah and His Messenger, with the Pagans, except those with whom ye made a treaty near the sacred Mosque? As long as these stand true to you, stand ye true to them: for Allah doth love the righteous.”
