Surah Al-Nahl (The Bees), Verse 100

اِنَّمَا سُلْطٰنُهٗ عَلَی الَّذِیْنَ یَتَوَلَّوْنَهٗ وَالَّذِیْنَ هُمْ بِهٖ مُشْرِكُوْنَ 

Innnamaa sultaanuhoo 'alal lazeena yatawallawnahoo wallazeena hum bihee mushrikoon

“His authority is over those only, who take him as patron and who join partners with Allah.”
