Surah Fusilat (The Verses Prefectly Explained), Verse 14

اِذْ جَآءَتْهُمُ الرُّسُلُ مِنْ بَیْنِ اَیْدِیْهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ اَلَّا تَعْبُدُوْۤا اِلَّا اللّٰهَ قَالُوْا لَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّنَا لَاَنْزَلَ مَلٰٓىِٕكَةً فَاِنَّا بِمَاۤ اُرْسِلْتُمْ بِهٖ كٰفِرُوْنَ ۟

Iz jaaa'at humur Rusulu mim baini aydeehim wa min khalfihim allaa ta'budooo illal laaha qaaloo law shaaa'a Rabunaa la anzala malaaa 'ikatan fa innaa bimaaa ursiltum bihee kaafiroon

Behold, the messengers came to them, from before them and behind them, (preaching): "Serve none but Allah." They said, "If our Lord had so pleased, He would certainly have sent down angels (to preach). Now we reject your mission (altogether)."
