Surah Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War), Verse 38

قُلْ لِّلَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْۤا اِنْ یَّنْتَهُوْا یُغْفَرْ لَهُمْ مَّا قَدْ سَلَفَ وَاِنْ یَّعُوْدُوْا فَقَدْ مَضَتْ سُنَّتُ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ ۟

Qul lillazeena kafarooo iny yantahoo yughfar lahum maa qad salafa wa iny ya'oodoo faqad madat sunnatul awwaleen

“Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist, the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them).”
