اَلْقَارِعَةُ ۟

Al qaari'ah

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour:

مَا الْقَارِعَةُ ۟

Mal qaariah

What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour?

وَمَاۤ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ ۟

Wa maa adraaka mal qaari'ah

And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is?

یَوْمَ یَكُوْنُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوْثِ ۟

Yauma ya koonun naasu kal farashil mabthooth

(It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about,

وَتَكُوْنُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنْفُوْشِ ۟

Wa ta koonul jibalu kal 'ihnil manfoosh

And the mountains will be like carded wool.

فَاَمَّا مَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِیْنُهٗ ۟

Fa-amma man thaqulat mawa zeenuh

Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy,

فَهُوَ فِیْ عِیْشَةٍ رَّاضِیَةٍ ۟

Fahuwa fee 'ishatir raadiyah

Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction.

وَاَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِیْنُهٗ ۟

Wa amma man khaffat mawa zeenuh

But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,-

فَاُمُّهٗ هَاوِیَةٌ ۟

Fa-ummuhu haawiyah

Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit.

وَمَاۤ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا هِیَهْ ۟

Wa maa adraaka maa hiyah

And what will explain to thee what this is?

نَارٌ حَامِیَةٌ 

Naarun hamiyah

(It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely!
