وَالْعَصْرِ ۟
Wal 'asr
By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),

Al-'Asr3 verses
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ ۟
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful
2
اِنَّ الْاِنْسَانَ لَفِیْ خُسْرٍ ۟
Innal insaana lafee khusr
Verily Man is in loss,
3
اِلَّا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ
Illal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati wa tawaasaw bilhaqqi wa tawaasaw bissabr
Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.
