Al-Fil

اَلَمْ تَرَ كَیْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِاَصْحٰبِ الْفِیْلِ ۟

Alam tara kaifa fa'ala rabbuka bi ashaabil feel

Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant?

اَلَمْ یَجْعَلْ كَیْدَهُمْ فِیْ تَضْلِیْلٍ ۟

Alam yaj'al kai dahum fee tad leel

Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray?

وَّاَرْسَلَ عَلَیْهِمْ طَیْرًا اَبَابِیْلَ ۟

Wa arsala 'alaihim tairan abaabeel

And He sent against them Flights of Birds,

تَرْمِیْهِمْ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّنْ سِجِّیْلٍ ۟

Tar meehim bi hi jaaratim min sij jeel

Striking them with stones of baked clay.

فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّاْكُوْلٍ 

Faja 'alahum ka'asfim m'akool

Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up.
