Al-Inshirah

اَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ ۟

Alam nashrah laka sadrak

Have We not expanded thee thy breast?-

وَوَضَعْنَا عَنْكَ وِزْرَكَ ۟

Wa wa d'ana 'anka wizrak

And removed from thee thy burden

الَّذِیْۤ اَنْقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ ۟

Allazee anqada zahrak

The which did gall thy back?-

وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ ۟

Wa raf 'ana laka zikrak

And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)?

فَاِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ یُسْرًا ۟

Fa inna ma'al usri yusra

So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief:

اِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ یُسْرًا ۟

Inna ma'al 'usri yusra

Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.

فَاِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانْصَبْ ۟

Fa iza faragh ta fansab

Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard,

وَاِلٰی رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ 

Wa ilaa rabbika far ghab

And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention.
